I have had the opportunity to go
with Mexico Short Trips the past ten years. I have had
tremendous spiritual and personal growth through these
trips. I have enjoyed taking my own group and watching
them grow as well. We have seen thousands of people come
to Christ along with many healings. When you cross over
the border, the first reality that sets in is how blessed
we are in America. From time to time I look at pictures
of past trips and joy still fills my heart. There is
nothing like seeing hundreds of people come out to
receive food, clothes and toys and then leave with
Christ after a crusade.

Our group recently went on a
Mexico Short Trip. I really didn't know what to expect.
The trip was really awesome. For the first time our
group learned how to work together as a team. Everyone
in the cardboard village was so excited when they saw
our trailer loaded with clothes and food show up. The
people with Mexico Short Trips was a joy to work with.
Our music group joined together with the local church to
play at the outdoor crusade. It was such a blessing to
see how well everyone works together and to see the
response of the people.

I
have been on several School of Evangelism-Missions,
Mexico Short Trips. Each time is amazing in so many
ways. Passing out food, clothes and toys to people that
hardly have anything is an incredible experience. Seeing
the joy in a child's eyes when you hand them a toy
brings joy to your heart. Seeing the gratefulness in the
eyes of a young mother when you give her clothes is
rewarding. It's awesome because I have had the privilege
to be a part of it. The best of it all, is telling them
about Jesus. I have left Mexico with a gratefulness and
an open heart each time.

I had an awesome time and learned
a lot with Mexico Short Trips. It was my first
experience at doing missionary work. I was glad to be
working the work that we are supposed to do as
Christians; relating to people and serving them
spiritually and
physically. Going on this mission, I felt much joy
because I was doing the deeds and kindnesses that were
asked of me by my Father. During the outdoor crusade the
people were told about the power and grace of God. We
prayed for every one in the crowd. Many people raised
their hands to accept Jesus or rededicate their lives.
I was happy to take part in seeing God's will take
place. I appreciate much, the fellowship of all the new
friends who took part in my first missionary trip and am
proud of the work we did through our Father.
